Powburn Scout Adventure Centre
Adventure brought to you by Tynemouth Scouts
Built as the Jubilee Memorial Hall for the village of Powburn near Wooler, Northumberland, the premises were acquired by Tynemouth Scouts in 1974 and developed as an outdoor centre.
The centre is located just north of the village of Powburn in Northumberland (approximately 40 miles north of Newcastle), near Wooler. It is surrounded by unspoilt countryside with easy access to the Cheviot Hills as well as Bamburgh and Holy Island.

*Activities are provided at a small charge if groups have no qualified instructors. Groups wanting to use the equipment to run the activity themselves must be able to provide a valid instructors certificate where needed. Please enquire at time of booking if you would a qualified instructor to run activities.
